When Sona Mehring's friends JoAnn Hardegger and Darrin Swanson experienced a life-threatening pregnancy, Sona created a website to keep loved ones informed about mom and Baby Brighid. Born almost three months premature, Brighid was rushed to the newborn intensive care unit. Sadly, after a nine-day struggle, she died in surgery.
