Introducing the 1903 Society:
The Very Foundation of Our Community's Healthcare
In 1903, a group of committed citizens recognized that the healthcare of this
community was too important to not be supported.
They worked to establish Milford Hospital. As a result, the quality of life
in Milford and the surrounding towns would never be the same.
The Annual Fund for Highest Priority Needs
Milford Hospital has grown for more than a century to meet the needs of the
community while maintaining its mission as a non-profit, communitydriven healthcare
facility dedicated to offering care with dignity, compassion and respect. Now
known as Milford Regional Medical Center, and with a service network that reaches
20 towns surrounding Milford, we continue to rely on the generosity of individuals
and local businesses for essential financial support.
While we now have many options by which donors may offer financial support
to Milford Regional, the cornerstone of our philanthropic activities continues
to be the annual fund. A gift to the annual fund is the most effective way that
your donation benefits the areas of greatest need at Milford Regional.
Gifts designated to the annual fund are used for highest priority needs to
support important programs and patient services including the Cancer Center,
Women's Pavilion, emergency department, adolescent health services, cardiovascular
services, diabetes care and the VNA.
Leadership Giving Clubs
Milford Regional is fortunate to have a select group of supporters who make generous
gifts every year to the annual fund, which are used for highest priority needs
at the Medical Center. The 1903 Society has been created to recognize supporters
who give $1,000 or more each year. We invite you to become involved in one of
our Leadership
Giving Clubs.
