The 1892 Society
The 1892 Society at the University of Rhode Island was established more than twenty-five years ago to recognize all alumni and friends who make charitable estate and planned gifts to the University.
We invite you to join these very special donors whose estate and planned gifts will help the University maintain and improve the quality of its programs for future generations.
Planned gifts include bequest intentions through wills and living or testamentary trusts, beneficiary designations on retirement plan assets and life insurance, and life income arrangements such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts.
There is no minimum gift requirement for membership to the 1892 Society, which currently includes over 300 members.
