The W. Harry & Harriet Hill Society for Planned Gifts

Few couples have had as great an impact on the physical and financial landscape of Young Harris College as William Harry Hill and Harriet Hargrove Hill. Dr. Hill, a longtime Trustee of the College and Tennessee Walking Horse enthusiast, has played an integral part in establishing the planned giving program at YHC.

"The College is an important part of my estate planning. My wife and I do not have children, so we consider the College to be our child. We want to do what we can to ensure that Young Harris College is strong financially for the future," Dr. Hill has said.

The Hills have long been aware of the importance of planned giving. The W. Harry and Harriet Hill Society for Planned Gifts was created to honor those who, like the Hills, recognize the importance of investing in Young Harris College and have included the College in their estate planning.

If you have made provisions for YHC in your estate plans please contact the Office of Advancement. Notifying the College will help college staff document your wishes and ensure that your gift will support the programs or areas of study that are important to you. It will also allow Young Harris College to include you in the Hill Society so that you may receive the recognition you deserve. If you have already made plans to support YHC through your estate or if you are interested in finding out how to do so, please contact Jennifer B. McAfee at (706) 379-5318.
