The Thomas Schippers Society - The Orchestra's Legacy Society

The Thomas Schippers Society was established to recognize individuals who contribute to the tradition of planned giving exemplified by the society's namesake. Maestro Schippers' legacy to Cincinnati is more than musical, as he remembered his adopted city with a substantial personal bequest to the Orchestra.

Schippers Society gifts include, but are not limited to:

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra has a strong endowment today because past generations of Cincinnatians—like Thomas Schippers—thought of the future and provided for the Orchestra in their estate plans and wills. Thanks to this strong commitment, the CSO continues to achieve the stature as one of the country's, and world's, pre-eminent orchestras.

The Schippers Society welcomes as members those individuals who have created a provision in their estate plans or established a planned gift to benefit the Orchestra and have informed the CSO of their generous intent. Schippers Society members are listed in all Orchestra programs.

To further discuss The Schippers Society and how you can leave your own legacy with the Orchestra, please contact Conrad Thiede at 513.621.1919 or CThiede@cincinnatisymphony.org.
