Giving to USF

Fr. John Lo Schiavo Legacy Society

The Fr. John Lo Schiavo Legacy Society honors those visionary stewards who have chosen to ensure the university's future well-being by establishing a gift through a will, trust, beneficiary designation in a retirement plan, or other long-term financial plan.

The legacy society honors the example of Fr. John Lo Schiavo, whose inspired leadership at USF spanned more than six decades. Society members carry on Fr. Lo's legacy of enduring devotion to Jesuit values through education.

20 legacy society members enjoyed a special pre-game reception on the hilltop before the last men's basketball game against the Pacific Tigers. Dons prove victorious with a final score of 65-55. Pictured here Ray & Barbara Perkins with the Don.
Some of the uniquely USF experiences for Legacy Society members include:

  • Free personalized consultations regarding estate gifts and financial planning
  • Invitations to special events at the University of San Francisco
  • A distinctive Fr. John Lo Schiavo Legacy Society pin
  • Invitation to the Annual Legacy Society reception
Have you included USF in your estate plans or do you have questions about doing so? Please call or contact Elizabeth Hill at 415.422.4163 or ehill3@usfca.edu. Thank you.
