A Classical Legacy
David Novak's love of classical music began as a teenager after a visit to the public library. It was there that he picked up an album by soprano Elisabeth Schwarzkopf because the cover intrigued him. After listening to that record, David developed a lifelong passion for classical music that eventually led to his relationship with 98.7WFMT. More

Educating One Viewer at a Time
Deborah Liu came to Chicago from Hong Kong in 1977. At that time, there were not many educational classes available to teach Deborah the English language. Deborah discovered WTTW11 and quickly became a fan of Mister Roger's Neighborhood. Mister Roger's gave Deborah the educational foundation she needed to communicate in her new environment. More

A Reason to Give
Lynne Atherton has been a Founders Society member since 2002 when she established a Charitable Remainder Unitrust (CRUT). Lynne retired at age 55 and wanted to ensure she had an estate plan in place.
