Learn More
We hope our website has answered many of your questions about naming WHRO in your will or living trust. Here are some actions to take to learn more about this flexible way to support our mission in the future.

  • Download a free guide about passing on your values through your will or living trust.
  • Just a few sentences in your will or trust are all that is needed.
You may specify that your gift be used for the general purposes of the organization, which provides WHRO with the most flexibility. Simply have your attorney insert the following language in addition to the language listed above: "to foster and promote the growth, progress, and general welfare of WHRO as the Board of Trustees may direct." If you wish to further direct your bequest, please contact Dory Morrison, Major and Planned Gifts Officer at 757.889.9477.
  • Contact Dory Morrison at 757.889.9477 or dory.morrison@whro.org with any questions you have, or to let us know of your charitable plans.
